A Day At the Fair

We got to go to the fair this year, which is one of the things that I look forward to every fall. Chad, on the other hand, HATES the fair! I love going on the rides, he gets sick even looking at them. I had to get a group together so that Chad would go, but I think he actually had a little fun! We took Julia, so this is how Chad walked around all day!

This was the first ride that we went on just to get warmed up.

This used to be one of my favorite rides as a kid. It used to be called The Rainbow.

This was actually the scariest ride I went on all day. I got on and started thinking about the fact that I was in a little wicker chair with little chain links holding me up. If one of thouse links broke...

Julia did really good all day. She mostly slept. Chad's back was pretty sore by the end of the day!

THE CLAW
(I don't remember the actual name, but as you can see, it looks like a claw!)

Julia's First Bottle

Okay, this was kindof a big deal. I was really worried about starting her on a bottle too early, so we waited until she was almost 10 weeks old. She did just fine, of course. Now daddy can have some bonding time with Julia too!
I don't know how she's going to like this...

I think she likes it!

Julia's 2 Month Check-Up

This is the first doctor's appointment that we actually remembered to bring a camera. I need to remember to from now on! This appointment was a little traumatic because she had to get some shots. As you will be able to see below, she didn't like that part much, but who does?! Overall she was really good.
She loves Dr. Jerry!

She's growing so fast! Dr. Jerry said she gets an A+ in the weight gain department!

Getting her ears checked out

This is just before she got her shots. See how calm and peaceful she is...

Right after...

But she calmed down pretty fast when she was back in daddy's arms.

Now we know what our parents meant when they said, "This is going to hurt me more that it hurts you."

On to Dallas

From OKC, we went on to the last leg of our little road trip to Dallas. There we celebrated my grandmother's 85th birthday! Julia got to meet her Great-Grandparents, and all of her extended family on my mom's side (she meets my dad's side at Thanksgiving!).

This was the first smile we managed to catch!

On our way home. This trip wore her out!

The Sip-and-See Shower

While we were in OKC my mom's wonderful friends threw a sip-and-see shower for Julia. It was a lot of fun, and we felt really blessed.

More Pics from OKC

I just think this is such a cute pic of Julia, and you can really see her baby blues!

She looks terrified, but she actually really liked the water being poured over her head.

Jaxon saw Julia getting a bath in the sink and decided that he wanted to get his hair washed like that!

Julia's HUGE paci!!!

Trip to OKC

After our trip to Fayetteville, Julia and I went to OKC for the week. We had so much fun visiting with GranJan, Pops, Katy and Jaxon.

Pops is very good at getting Julia to sleep.

Jaxon found an old pacifier of his and wanted to have one cause Julia had one. It was pretty cute as you can see!

Julia looks so adorable in this dress, I just wish that I had thought about the background before I took this picture!

Julia loved being with her family. I think she got spoiled from being held so much!
